Your prayer times are calculated in your browser.

City search, prayer times and Hijri dates run on your device. The city list is downloaded once with the page; what you type and the location you choose are not sent to us or to anyone else.

Your selected city, coordinates, calculation settings and language are saved in this browser so your timetable opens directly next time. Clear your browser's site data to remove them. If you use “Use my location”, your browser asks permission first, and the coordinates stay on your device. To name the town you are in, the page downloads this site’s list of towns for the surrounding area, a square about 200 km across, and picks the nearest one on your device.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and GitHub Pages, which may keep standard server logs such as IP addresses. We do not use cookies, analytics or ads.

Store links open Google Play or the Apple App Store only when you choose them. For the Shia Namaz app itself, see the app privacy policy.

City data comes from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0). Prayer times use the Shia Namaz app's engine, built on Adhan (MIT) and js-joda (BSD) time zones come from tz-lookup (CC0), and QR codes are drawn with qrcode-generator (MIT). Occasion dates and their titles come from the Shia Namaz app.
